三菱「ｉ」

Ｍ師匠が開発した三菱「ｉ」を見て来ました。
第一印象は、車に対して凄くホイールベースが長いという事と
最低地上高が高いという事でした。
軽の枠のなかでの設計なので、エンジンをミッドシップにしたり、運転席下に
ガソリンタンクを置いたり、様々な工夫がなされています。
軽自動車の全長に近い程タイヤが離れていて、最小のオーバーハングしかなく、
ベンツＡクラス的な印象が強く感じられました。
それは前述の工夫のためなのか、床面が他車と比べて高いという事からもＡクラスを
感じました。
デザイン、居住性、外装と内装の仕上がり等々軽自動車の中ではピカ一です。
唯一の欠点は、車輛価格が高いという事だけでした。
